now that，thanks to与because of的区别

Now that 是连词，后面跟从句。now 本身就可以用作连词，表示由于此时此刻的前提才产生了主句所陈述的推论，相当于汉语的“既然”。由于用来连接句子，为了避免和副词 now 混淆，有时候后面多加另一个连词that。例如：

　　Now (that) you are grown up, you should not rely on your parents. 既然你长大了, 就不应该依靠你的父母。
　　Now (that) he is well again, he can go on with his English study. 既然恢复了健康, 他就可以继续学习英语。

Because of 是复合介词，后面跟名词或动名词，表示“由于某种直接原因才产生了主句陈述的结果”

　　She is here because of me. 她是因为我而到这里来的
　　It was because of the jobthat he had taken the flat. 他因为工作的原因租了那套公寓

Thanks to 是复合介词，后面跟名词，表示“由于出于对某种有利因素的存在避免了不希望发生的后果或得到了好处而庆幸”，相当于汉语的“多亏”、“幸亏”或“亏得”。

　　经你这么一说，我心里就透亮了。
　　Thanks to her skilful handling of the affair, the problem was averted. 多亏她对事情处理得巧妙，才避免了麻烦。

意思上就是不一样的。now that 译为既然，thanks to 译为多亏了，because of 译为因为，比之thanks to 不带感情色彩，且后面加名词性成分

thanks to 含义为：“多亏了，幸亏...” because of ：“由于。。。”

now that 既然.....引导原因状语从句
now that you have come, you'd better finish the lecture.
thanks to 多亏了，幸亏....引导条件状语从句
thanks to his help, otherwise we couldn't have finished the work so early
because of 因为.....（后面只能接词或短语，不能接句子）
he came here late because of rain.
