Personal Statement

I am a student from Dalian No.24 Middle
School. I have a great interest in Bachelor of Social Work in your university. Here
is my self introduction

I am a happy and optimist girl. I can find
bright light in everyday life and try to decorate my life with smile and
laughter. And I do my best to make my school life meaningful and colorful.

With high capability in study, I can do
well in my school work. In my case, study is not a hard work, but something
enjoyable. Thanks to my high school, I have formed my own style of study. I have
an ability to work independently and rapidly. Many people say that liberal arts
is all about remember，recite and practice. However, as an open-minded girl, I can link all
the knowledge I’ve learnt together, and manage to make my own learning method.

I have been working in our student union as
one of the leaders. Thanks to this experience, I fulfilled my potential and developed a sense of responsibility. I learn that the
best way to solve the problem is never to complain, but to face it and search
for a practical method in your mind.

I agree that interest is the best teacher,
and that’s why I choose Bachelor of Social Work as my major. I’ve learn that I
can have several subject to choose from in the second years, and I am
interested in many of them. I want to explore how the mind works, to gain
insights about who we are and why we act, think, and feel the way we do, and to
learn to understand others. All these subjects are fascinating in my own right.
I believe it can help me apply to real-world problems wisely and make
difference in the world.

The University of Hongkong always attract
me for its global view and great study environment. would be most appreciate if
I could be admitted to HKU.

I am a happy and optimist girl. I can alwaysfind out the brightness from everyday life which is decorated with smile and laughterand I keep doing my endeavor to make my school life meaningful and colorful.
With learning ability, I can do well in myschool work and study, to me, is something enjoyable instead of hard staff. Thanksto my high school, I have developed my own style of study, workingindependently and rapidly. For the majority, liberal art is to remember, reciteand practicing, but for me, an open-minded girl, I can always combine all theknowledge I’ve learnt together and make it my own learning method.
I have been working in our Student Union as ateam leader where I achieved my full potential and developed a sense ofresponsibility. And I learn that the best way to solve the problem is never tocomplain, but to face it and dig out the practical method in your mind.
I subscribe to the idea that interest is thebest teacher, and this is why I select Social Work as my major. I’ve learn thatI can get several more subjects to choose in the second years, many of which I aminterested in. I want to explore how the mind works, gain insights about who weare and how we act, think, and feel, and study more. All these subjects arefascinating to me and I believe they can help me resolve problems in life wisely.
