Deliver the cargo(or shipments or products) to the designated warehouse. The client (or consignee) does not need to pay until successful delivery. The payment term is 120 days. If the outstanding balance has to be paid within 18 days, 3.5% of the total value of the freight will be charged as commission.
与VMI的关系是什么？这个问题有点笼统，不知道应该怎么答你。但是如果我看到这个说法，第一个反应就是，如果是货到付款，120的payment term，那对公司总共的现金流是非常有好处的。如果是18天，也就是说，钱的flexibility就被剥夺了，你本来可以用这个钱去做别的，现在却做不了了。而且还有，如果是国际贸易的话，那长时间的payment term会从货币汇率的角度给shipper带来很大的风险的。因为汇率在120内的变动会很大。
VMI要考虑的因素有很多，这个是其中的一个方面。
