3、由上述例子可以看出,只有既可以修饰单数名词的又可以修饰复数名词的 what、some、any 等形容词才能用在 kind 或 kinds 前.

你所举的例子 What kinds of books do you like? 意思是“你喜欢哪些种类的书籍?”.如果改为 What kind of book do you like?,意思变成了“你喜欢哪一种书籍?”.究竟用 kind 还是kinds,需要视语境而定.

另外,There are many kind of animals in the zoo 这个句子不知道你从什么地方看到的,many 后不能用单数 kind,因此这是个错句.切记不要把在不可靠地方摘抄的句子作为佐证.
