纯英语专业，从事过几年翻译，转行应聘technical writer能行吗？

转行应聘technical writer：
1、是否能转行technical writer需要看是否熟悉准备应聘的技术行业。

3、技术文档工程师可以理解为技术记者，通过和开发，测试，SE等沟通、学习获得所需技术信息，写成文档供用户参考使用。文档一般包括安装，配置，产品介绍等一系列文档。需要有一定的技术背景，较强的学习能力和良好的英语沟通及写作能力。
4、纯英语专业，从事过几年翻译，良好的英语沟通及写作能力是不缺乏的，但一定的技术背景是转行应聘technical writer的重要条件，对准备应聘的技术行业不熟悉是不行的。

Now I am a total technical writer because the software products have no Chinese version, all targeting western customers. My first job determines my current position.
You can absolutely become a technical writer. Usually big companies are willing to train you, not matter what backgrounds you have, and small companies hope you can pick up tasks in short time.
