would 和used to 的区别

used to与would
（一）共同点
Would与used to都可用来表示过去经常性或习惯性的动作，常常可以换用。如：
When we were boys we used to/would go swimming every summer.
Would与used to都不能用来表示动作发生的具体频度或具体的一段时间。例如，不能说：
I would/used to go to France six times．
He used to live in Africa for twenty years．
上两句应改成：
I went to France six times．
He lived in for twenty years.
（二）不同点
1、used to可指过去的状态或情况，would则不能。如：
I used to have an old car.
2、would表示反复发生的动作。如果某一动作没有反复性，就不能用would，只能用used to。例如：
And from that day on，as soon as he finished his homework, he would play basketball with his friends.（具有反复性）
I used to live in Beijing．（没有反复性）
3、used to表示过去经常性或习惯性的动作或状态现在已经结束，强调过去与现在的对比；would则表示有可能再发生。如：
People used to believe that the earth was flat．
过去，人们总以为地球是扁平的。（现在已不再这样认为）
He would go to the park as soon as he was free．
过去，他一有空就去公园。（现在有可能再去）

Used to:过去常常，用于一般过去时。
但它的否定式可以直接在used 后加not.变一般疑问句把used提前。亦可以按照含有实义动词的一般过去时借助于助动词did，否定句用didn't，.变一般疑问句把did提前，动词复原。
She used to be a teacher.她过去是个老师。
She usedn't to be a teacher或She didn't use to be a teacher.
Used She to be a teacher?或 Did she used to be a teacher?
would :过去将要。will的过去式。用于过去将来时态,在时间状语从句和宾语从句中用的较多。
She would help others as long as she saw them in trouble in the past.
在过去，只要她看见别人身处困境就会帮助他们。
She said she would be there on time. 她说她会准时到那儿。
除此之外，would常用于表示邀请或请求的句子中。
常见句型： Would you please...? Would you mind (not) doing?
如：Would you please pass me some salt? 给我递点盐，可以吗？
Would you mind opening the door? 你介意八门打开吗？
Would you mind not smoking here？你介意不在在这里抽烟吗？
