你好，这句话中famously是famous的副词形式，表示出名地，著名地，非常令人满意的。
但是在翻译句子的时候我们要结合整个句子的意思来思考怎么翻译。在翻译的时候，我们有个规律是形容词和副词中英互译的时候是可以相互转化的，也就是说英文的形容词和副词在一定场合下可以相应地翻译成中文里面的副词和形容词（在中译英的时候这个规律一样适用），或者形容词和副词还可以巧妙地翻译成动词。翻译成副词的时候表示状态，翻译成动词的时候作补语。
这句话的意思是：贝多芬在失聪期间创作了很多杰作（优秀的作品），那个时候他很出名。
那么翻译的时候用上面这两个句子也合格，你也可以翻译成：失聪的贝多芬创作了很多优秀作品，声名远播。
