send sth to =send sb sth送/寄给某人某物。
意义上没有什么区别，但是使用时稍有区别。
1.当sb 和sth都是代词时，只用send sth to sb，而不能用send sb sth.
2.如果sth 为名词则两种说法无太大区别。类似的词还有 give ,pass , lend 等。
例如: l gave him a book .= l gave a book to him .但是当a book换成it时，只能用I gave it to him。
例：
She sends a book to me.她送了一本书给我。
send sth to sb by means of a telegram用电报将某物传送给某人
